09 August 2011 – The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 allows to setup the proxy settings right out from the box. To tweak the proxy settings: 

1. Hit Settings
 

 

2. Go to Wireless and Networks
 

 

3. Select Wi-Fi Settings
 

4. Tap and hold on your connected network
 

5. Tap on Modify Network Config.
 

6. Under Proxy Settings, tap on the drop-down box and select manual
 

7. Fill in the details such as Hostname, Proxy Port and No Proxy for
 

8. Hit Save
 

Note: The proxy settings only works for the stock web browser and the settings is not shared with any other apps installed in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
